PLAYPILE itself does not set a single cookie. The only thing it stores is your scores, and those use local storage rather than cookies.
What the site stores
pd.board.<game> | the ten best runs on that game, on this browser. Local storage, never sent anywhere. |
pd.name | the three letters you enter for a qualifying run. |
pd.<game>.* | a few games remember what you have bought or unlocked — QUICKDRAW's shop, HOOPS's wardrobe, SWEEP's board size. |
pd.adpref | Your choice of personalised or non-personalised adverts, from the privacy settings page. |
inkvale.save.v1 and similar | the bigger games keep their whole save - progress, unlocks, settings - under their own name. All of it is listed, and can be deleted, on the privacy settings page. |
All of the above is local storage. It stays on your machine, we cannot read it, and clearing your browsing data removes it.
Advertising cookies
Adverts on this site are served by Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other sites, to count how many people saw an advert, and to limit how often the same one is shown. Those are Google's and its partners' cookies, not ours. You can control them at Google Ads Settings or block third-party cookies in your browser — the games work either way.
Turning it all off
Blocking cookies and site data will stop your scores being saved. Nothing else on the site depends on it.
