Cookies

PLAYPILE itself does not set a single cookie. The only thing it stores is your scores, and those use local storage rather than cookies.

What the site stores

pd.board.<game>the ten best runs on that game, on this browser. Local storage, never sent anywhere.
pd.namethe three letters you enter for a qualifying run.
pd.<game>.*a few games remember what you have bought or unlocked — QUICKDRAW's shop, HOPPER's wardrobe, SWEEP's board size.

All of the above is local storage. It stays on your machine, we cannot read it, and clearing your browsing data removes it.

Advertising cookies

When advertising is switched on, Google AdSense may set cookies to count how many people saw an advert and to limit how often the same one is shown. Those are Google's cookies, not ours. You can control them at myadcenter.google.com or block third-party cookies in your browser — the games work either way.

Turning it all off

Blocking cookies and site data will stop your scores being saved. Nothing else on the site depends on it.
