Free Strategy Games
Games you win by planning. INKVALE is a tower defence painted in ink and watercolour, where every tower stains what it hits and two colours on one foe mix into something stronger than either - so where you build matters as much as what. Twelve battles, eight heroes, and a mode for two players over the internet.
Leave your land, draw a paper strip and loop back home to cut out everything inside. Snip rivals' strips, and claim the target share of the sheet.
A territory game made of cut paper. Your folded-paper token starts on a small sheet of your colour. Leave it and you draw a paper strip behind you; loop back home and everything inside the loop becomes yours. But while your strip is out, anyone who crosses it snips you off the sheet, and if you touch your own strip you tear.

Buy ink-and-watercolour fighters, merge three into a star, then watch them battle on their own. Ten trophies before six hearts run out.
Each round you shop, then fight. Spend gold on little fighters, from a mouse knight in a thimble helmet to a dragon made of ink, and arrange them on a two-row board: tanks in front, archers and mages behind. Press FIGHT and the battle plays itself: your units walk in, attack and cast their abilities when their mana fills. Win and you take a trophy; lose and you lose a heart. Ten trophies before your six hearts run out wins the run.

Pull back, let go, and lob a shell over the hill through the wind. First to three rounds wins.
Two cartoon tanks on rolling hills take turns shooting at each other. Press on the battlefield and pull back like a slingshot: the direction is the angle, the length of the pull is the power, and a short dotted line shows where the shell starts to go. The wind changes every turn and pushes every shell sideways, and every blast digs a crater that tanks drop into, with fall damage if the drop is big. Each tank has 100 health, and the first to win three rounds takes the match.

Dig trenches, raise walls, then lead your army in real time to storm every rival capital.
Found a kingdom with a royal grant of 50,000 gold. While time is stopped you dig trenches, raise palisades and stone walls, and recruit your first squads. Then raise the banners and the war runs in real time on a generated map 2, 3 or 4 km across, against 1 to 3 rival kingdoms that also fight each other. Take villages and pillage them or tax them, raid forts, claim land, and break into castles with rams and mangonels. A kingdom falls when its capital is taken, its ruler is slain or it surrenders. Space pauses whenever you need to think.

A tower defence painted in watercolour, where your towers paint the enemy and the colours mix.
Twelve battles, three acts, and a Hollow King at the end of the road. Archers stain what they hit ochre, mages ultramarine, artillery vermilion - and a second colour on a foe that is still wet MIXES: blue and red make a hex that makes everything hit harder, yellow and blue grow vines that root it, yellow and red burst into fire that spreads. Where you build is a palette. The spells are drawn, not clicked: drag a Wash along the road to shove the crowd back and paint it blue, or an Ink Wall across it to make them hack their way through.
